Supply List for Grades 6-8

The following is the supply list for sixth, seventh and eighth grades Carden Arbor View School.

• 1, 1” to 2 ”, 3-ring binder for trimester project (size depends on grade: 6th 1”)
• 2, 1” to 2”, 3-ring binder (NO 3” BINDERS)
• 1 set of 6 dividers
• College ruled notebook paper (8 1⁄2 X 11) (plan on one pack per month, not 8 X 10 1⁄2)
• 1 Roget’s Thesaurus (or Franklin Electronic) for synonyms - may be used in class or home
• 1 compass and 1 protractor
• 1 set of 24 or 36 colored markers (Pentel 36 Fine Point #S360-36 are excellent)
• Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary for home
• 3X5 note cards for Classical Roots
• 1, 12 in / 30 cm ruler(both units on it)
• Pens & Pencils- lead pencils and erasers for math

- blue or black pens for all other classes
- red or green pens for correcting work in class

6th grade

- 1 French Dictionary

7th grade

- 1 Latin Dictionary (Harper Collins Latin Concise Dictionary is excellent) 1,501 Latin Verbs (Barron's Educational Series, Inc.)

8th grade

-1 Spanish Dictionary 1, 501 Spanish Verbs (Barron's Educational Series, Inc.)
