The Mission of Carden Arbor View School is to provide the highest quality education of the whole child using the Carden curriculum and philosophy – to educate with joy, growth, enthusiasm, dignity, and respect.

Carden Arbor View School believes in an education devoted to the Carden Method, an education directed to the whole child, and one that infuses individuality with dignity, self-reliance, and compassion. 

At CAVS students build stamina and self-confidence through disciplined effort, at the same time gaining a respect for diligence and hard work. Carden students blossom with an appreciation for life, its complexity as well as its joy and richness, and come to understand that the gift of knowledge carries with it certain moral and spiritual obligations to society that foster not just noble ambitions but unselfish service.

We hold these values both as a standard of conduct and as an outgrowth of the Carden Arbor View experience for students, faculty, staff, and everyone embraced in its family.

Carden Arbor View School has a tradition of parent participation in volunteering and fund raising. Our school is like nearly all independent schools in that tuition does not fully address the annual operating costs. Every year we rely on the generosity of our community to bridge the gap between tuition and expenses through their charitable donations. Contributions to Arbor View Annual Fund, the annual giving program, benefit the school and students, and provide a tax deduction for the donors.
