About Carden Arbor View School

Established in 1981, CARDEN ARBOR VIEW SCHOOL is one of over 80 schools nationwide using Mae Carden’s teaching materials and methodologies.  We are an independent, private, non-sectarian school, serving students in kindergarten through eighth grades.  Our belief that teaching the whole child is very important – a must – as we are preparing children for life.

CARDEN appeals to families seeking academic excellence, civility, and safety, while offering a moral atmosphere that complements traditional family values.  The students develop individuality with dignity, confidence, and respect for self and others.  Our well-integrated and proven curriculum is delivered by caring professionals with a shared dedication for educating children.

Providing children with a strong foundation prepares them for a lifetime of learning.  Our rich academic curriculum includes art, music, computer science, foreign languages, life skills, physical education and motor development, in addition to the basic core subjects.  Within this weave Mae Carden’s 3 Rs:  reason, respect, and responsibility.

CARDEN offers a distinctive experience by discouraging pressure and rivalry and fostering individual growth and independence.  We encourage parent participation in school life and treasure the relationships built with each family.
