Accreditation

Carden Arbor View School was first accredited by California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) during the 1994-95 school year as a probationary school. The accreditation was for 3 years.

During the 1997-98 school year, a second accreditation was conducted and CAVS was granted a 6 year accreditation (the maximum allowable number of years between accreditation reviews).

During the 2003-04 school year, our most recent accreditation was completed and CAVS was granted another 6 year accreditation. Our next accreditation year will be during the 2009-2010 school year.

The commendations of each accreditation review have acknowledged the major strengths of the school to be quality and enthusiasm of students and staff and the feeling of a school community that recognizes the importance of school/family relationships.
