Child Care at CAVS (Tutoring below)
Child care is available to all Carden Arbor View School students before school beginning at 6:45 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m. Study Hall is available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to students enrolled in child care. Study Hall has staff to offer assistance but it is not free and it is not tutoring.
PRE-PAID CHILD CARE
Monthly Unlimited - Before and after school child care in a single month
One child: $175 Two children: $300 Three or more children: $350
Prepaid fee MUST BE paid by the 25th of the month prior (sorry, no exceptions).
Annual Discount: Save up to $500 by purchasing your child care by October 1.
One child: $1,500 Two children: $2,500 Three or more children: $3,000.
Occasional Child Care Family Sheet
10 days of before and/or after school child care that can be used throughout the year - $150 per family
Child care sheet MUST BE purchased prior to first day of child care use to qualify for discounted rate (sorry, no exceptions). This sheet can be purchased any time during the year, as many times as desired, however any unused days at the end of the school year are forfeited. Sheets are good for all children within the same family and days are good for all siblings who are signed into child care for that day.
If you do not purchase a pre-paid child care sheet prior to using child care services you will be billed at the billed child care rates.

Child care will be billed on the first of the month following and is due upon receipt. Late charges will apply after the 5th.
Children who are not picked up by 6:00 p.m. will be charged a late pick-up fee of $1.00 per minute.
TUTORING
Tutoring is exclusively available each day, after school, through veteran Carden teacher Claudia Humphries. Mrs. Humphries’ tutoring program is separate from the schools’ after school program and is subject to separate fees. Please contact Mrs. Humphries directly for additional information about her program. Tutoring charges are separate from child care fees, which will be assessed if the student is signed into child care either before or after a tutoring session.
