Mission

The Mission of Carden Arbor View School is to provide the highest quality education of the whole child using the Carden curriculum and philosophy-- to educate with joy, growth, enthusiasm, dignity, and respect.

This Mission includes providing a moral and spiritual atmosphere for each child which builds on family values.

Philosophy

Carden Arbor View School believes in an education which is devoted to the Carden Method and develops individuality with dignity, confidence, and respect for self and others; an education that teaches the personal skills which develop the ability to think, communicate well, and dress appropriately.

CAVS believes in building stamina through spiritual growth, self control, and discipline, while valuing a sense of humor. Carden Arbor View School encourages an appreciation of life, learning, beauty, people, wisdom, superior standards, culture, and fairness, along with a respect for work, whether it be school, volunteer, or professional.

Vision

As Carden Arbor View School moves into the 21st Century we commit ourselves to being an exemplary Carden school utilizing the traditional Carden Educational Program. In pursuit of this vision, we will provide a well-trained and dedicated staff offering a strong academic foundation. We offer our families a unique atmosphere that prepares the whole child for life. Within our state-of-the-art learning environment, we afford the students of our diverse community the ability to reach their highest potential.

Tradition of Giving

Carden Arbor View School has a tradition of parent participation in volunteering and fund raising. Our school is like nearly all independent schools in that tuition does not fully address the annual operating costs. Every year we rely on the generosity of our community to bridge the gap between tuition and expenses through their charitable donations. Contributions to Arbor View Society, the annual giving program, benefit the school and students, and provide a tax deduction for the donors.

After School Programs
We believe that after school programs such as Cub Scouts, Brownies and other programs, help foster learning and personal growth of the child. Learn how your child can benefit from these other programs.
