Students Donate Vegetable Seed Packets to Those in Africa

Following her trip to Africa, Mrs. DiAnne Drachand shared photos and stories from her experience in a training center where they built green houses and a water containment system.

The entire school participated in an effort collecting vegetable seeds to send to the Empowering Lives Training Center near Eldoret, Kenya, and surrounding villages to help combat the devastating effects of drought and poverty.

Over 1,500 packets of seeds were collected and presented to Samuel Tiemuge of Kenya and Don Rogers of the United States, both directors of Empowering Lives.
