Carden's Summer Program 2010
Our Summer Program is designed to support the philosophy of Carden Arbor
View School; to embrace the ideals of an Education with Joy, Growth, Enthusiasm,
Dignity and Respect, making this program a valuable addition to your child’s
summer activities.
CARDEN ARBOR VIEW SCHOOL is the place to be this summer for a WILD SCIENCE-FICTION SUMMER themed program which is sure to engage learners of all ages!
• Kindergarten- A self-contained program from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.. Throughout the day, Math, Pre-Reading, and Reading programs, will be incorporated into the theme for the week.
• Academic Academy -Students in 1st through the 8th grades will boost their Math, Language Arts, and computer skills. Mornings will be spent rotating between subjects in grade level groups.
• Special Feature course for students in Grades 7th - 9th: Euclid’s Elements. Focusing on different areas of Geometry and Algebra. Euclid’s propositions provide an invaluable basis for students planning to take Geometry.
• Extended Day- Offered from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A less structured and supportive environment, enables children to build friendships while playing, creating, or just relaxing.
