Accreditation

Carden Arbor View School is accredited by the Carden Educational Foundation, the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

First accredited by CAIS during the 1994–95 school year, Carden Arbor View School has received maximum  accreditation terms following the first three year term awarded over 30 years ago. In August of 2024, our Head of School, Mr. Brian Edwards shared the following announcement with the CAVS community:

We are delighted to share some fantastic news from the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS). After an extensive evaluation of the visiting committee’s report from last spring, we are thrilled to announce that Carden Arbor View School has been awarded a seven-year accreditation status by the CAIS Elementary Board of Standards and the CAIS Board of Directors. This is the longest term of accreditation granted by CAIS, and it reflects our school’s exceptional growth and achievements.

This incredible recognition underscores the passionate dedication to learning that thrives throughout our entire community. The CAIS and the Board of Standards both praised our educational program for its strong alignment with our school’s core values and mission. They highlighted the remarkable commitment of our teachers to nurturing strong citizenship and academic excellence, effectively preparing our students for success and fulfillment in all aspects of their lives.

This is a powerful testament to our collective effort and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of educational excellence. It reflects the hard work, passion, and commitment of every member of our school community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to all who have contributed to making Carden Arbor View School a shining example of educational excellence.

Dignity implies not only self-respect but respect for every other person as well. Mae Carden
