Other Fees

Late Payment Fee

Any amounts remaining unpaid ten days after the due date will be subject to a late fee equal to $10.00. Any amounts remaining unpaid fifteen days after the due date will be subject to an additional late fee equal to $15.00.

Returned Check Fee

If a check or bank transaction is returned for non-sufficient funds, a charge of $25.00 shall be added for the first occurrence. A charge of $35.00 shall be added for each subsequent check or bank transaction returned for non-sufficient funds.

Middle School (6th - 8th Grades) Technology Fee

An annual $500 technology fee is assessed for all middle school students. This fee reflects our commitment to preparing students for the future and will be used to implement a one-to-one device program for all middle school students.

Here is what the technology fee will cover:

Personal Devices: Each middle school student will receive a personal device, which will become theirs to keep upon graduation.
Digital Transition: Introduction of digital textbooks in select classes, reducing reliance on traditional textbooks.
Licensing and Maintenance: All associated licensing, technical support, and maintenance required to sustain the program.

Payment Plan Fees

60/40 Payment Plans

Additional fee of $300.00 applies. The first installment of 60% tuition + $180.00 fee is due on July 1, the second installment of 40% tuition + $120.00 fee is due on January 1.

Monthly Payment Plans

Additional fee of $60.00/month applies and will be billed with tuition July 1–April 1.

Sibling Discount

We understand the financial commitment enrollment entails. To support our families, we offer a sibling tuition discount of $500 per additional child.

Child care sheet MUST BE purchased prior to the first day of child care use to qualify for discounted rate. This sheet can be purchased any time during the year, as many times as desired; however, any unused days at the end of the school year are forfeited.

Sheets are good for all children within the same family who are paid for and indicated on the sheet. Days (slots) are good for all siblings signed into child care for that day. Children not paid for and not indicated on the sheet will be billed at the drop-in rate.

Drop-in child care will be billed the month following and is due upon receipt.

Charges begin once the student is signed in to child care. Charges will not be excused; please do not ask or expect child care staff to record incorrect pick-up times or waive fees.

Children who are not picked up by 6:30 p.m. will be charged a late pick-up fee of $1.00 per minute.
Overdue child care accounts can cause interruption in child care privileges and/or enrollment status.
Contact the Business Office to make arrangements to be invoiced for monthly green sheet child care or have an automatic charge set up for occasional child care once your white sheet runs out.

If a pre-paid plan has not been purchased, you will be invoiced at the billed drop-in child care rate.

Financial Aid

Families that qualify for financial aid for the regular school year, are eligible for reduced rate pre-paid child care plans (green and white sheets). Reduced fees do not apply to billed drop-in child care (blue sheets).

Sibling Rates

Child care is provided at no charge between 2:30 and dismissal for kindergarten students of siblings enrolled in higher grades or those waiting for an after-school activity to begin at 3:30 p.m.

Siblings in child care after 3:15 p.m. will be charged. Children left in child care to wait for a sibling participating in an after-school activity are also charged for child care.

Financial Assistance

Since Carden Arbor View School is a qualified non-profit organization (501(c)(3)), donations to the Arbor View Annual Fund (AVAF) are tax-deductible. Although the school is a non-profit organization, tuition and fees are not considered tax-deductible.
