Giving

Carden Arbor View School recognizes development and advancement as those programs designed to promote goodwill, build a sense of community, provide parent education and raise additional funds for school enhancement and enrichment.  All advancement activities are sanctioned by the board, administered and executed by staff and include parent participation

It is the intent of CAVS that these activities not interfere with the regular academic program, cause undue financial hardship, take and inordinate amount of time, or place unnecessary stress on our families.  Therefore  activities and events are limited and must have the approval of the Board of Trustees and the Co-Principals before moving forward.  All activities and events are reviewed each year to ascertain merit and make sure they align with the school's mission.

There is an Advancement Committee that meets four times a year.  The committee is chaired by a Board Trustee, provides support to the Director of Advancement and the committee reviews restricted gifts and gifts in-kind for approval by the Co-Principals or Board of Trustees.   All events are administered by task forces, administered by the Director of Advancement and Co-Principals.  The task force organizes parent/speaker events, the welcoming family event, GALA, and organizes on campus and student events such as the Fall Carnival and the Annual Book Fair.

The school currently holds two fundraising activities annually.

Did you know?

While it may seem like tuition should cover all expenses, in the arena of private school, it simply does not.  Annual giving programs provide the wonderful extras that help enrich your child's educational experience, as well as replenish reserves for the future.  All pledges and gifts are appreciated and will continue to make a difference at our school!

Monetary donations to the annual giving fund are 100% tax-deductible and may be made by cash, check, debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard/Discover/AMEX) or through our online payment portal.  Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the front office.

If you are seeking a tax deduction for the current calendar year, please fulfill your pledge by December 31, 2023  Pledges are welcome at any level that is comfortable for your family.  All pledges must be fulfilled by June 30,2024 to be included in the 2023-24 annual fund total.

For more information or if you have questions about any of the fundraising programs at Carden Arbor View School, please contact Ms. DiMarco, Director of Advancement, via email. We appreciate your support and donations to our school!
