About CAVS

Since 1981, Carden Arbor View School (CAVS) an independent,  private, non-sectarian school, has continued serving students in kindergarten  through eighth grade. We are one of over 80 schools nationwide that utilizes Mae Carden’s teaching methods. Woven  into the daily lessons of a strong academic foundation are Mae Carden's 3 R's: reason, respect, and responsibility.

Mae Carden’s 3 Rs:  reason, respect, and responsibility.

Our well-integrated and proven curriculum is delivered by caring  professionals with a shared dedication to educate children.  Providing children with a strong foundation prepares them for a lifetime of learning. Our rich academic curriculum includes art,  music, computer science, world languages, life skills, physical  education, and motor development, in addition to the basic core subjects.

Our belief that teaching the whole child is very important – a  must – as we are preparing children for life. Carden appeals to  families seeking academic excellence, civility, and safety while  offering a moral atmosphere that complements traditional  family values. The students develop individuality with dignity,  confidence, and respect for self and others.

Carden offers a distinctive experience by discouraging pressure and rivalry and fostering individual growth and independence. We encourage parent participation in school life and treasure the relationships built with each family.

We invite you to call our office to arrange an appointment between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for a personal tour.

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions your family will make.  In selecting an independent school, you have the unique opportunity of also selecting a culture of attitudes and values that will shape your child's learning experience. Carden provides an educational environment of advanced academic achievement, character development, and leadership training, cornerstones for your child's future happiness, success, and well-being.
