Community Service

At Carden we pride ourselves on our commitment to give back to the community and to instill such values in our students.

Doing for others and caring for the welfare of others earn the reward for which the whole world is seeking. That reward is happiness.

Mae CardenSpirit Teams bring together students from all grade levels to focus on philanthropic projects. Students participate in food and toy drives as well as worldwide emergency relief efforts. In these ways our children experience firsthand the joy and importance of giving back.

Some of the local community service projects the students have worked with are Foothill Family Shelter, Thanksgiving baskets and diaper drives, Stephen's Hope, Winter Wonderland, holiday gifts for terminally ill children and their families, United Way Jump for Heart campaign and many other community programs.

Dignity implies not only self-respect but respect for every other person as well. Mae Carden
